The player incarnates a canon, lock in a room that he must escape from. he can fire bullets that bounce on walls, and if one reaches the door on the level, he unlocks the level.
we added many different mechanics and different type of walls to develop our simple concept with more deep gameplay and create a different level with their own identity

We were three-game designers on this project. Since we had no artists, our main challenge was to create a functional game that doesn't look like a prototype without artists. It was our first project designed for mobile platforms. Working on a mobile game added more constraints to the gameplay and interface design.

Game designer:

We first designed the game concept together, and I was in charge of the game rules (bullets per level, win conditions) and the creation of our LD features, including the type of wall, interactive LD elements, or the type of bullets

UI designer/Game artist:

Since we had no artist, my challenge was to do the work of an artist while not being one, and the choice of making a minimalist game help us a lot with that and worked really well for mobile games. I had to establish the aspect of every element in the game, assets, UI elements, FXs, and animations.

Programmer:

I also worked as gameplay programmer: I had to integrate every LD features in the game, make sure our features are functional, the transition between interfaces and the "save game" feature, to memorize player progressions.
