We were 7 on this project: 4 game designers and 3 programmers. The project started in september 2019: I joined the team halfway, when they needed help on production.
Main roles:
UI/UX designer:
The UI had already been set by the former game designers, but when i joined the team, it needed reworks. I participate on these reworks, and was in charge of the tutorial. Since it is a simulator game, the tutorial needed to be easily understandable while remaining intradiabetic and flexible, to not overwhelm players. the creation of the tutorial alos put me on the help tool creation: Stampy, the society mascot, that can gives players advices. I also gave feedback on the UI, in order to improve the user experience.
UI programmer:
After designing the tutorial UI and functionning, I had to create it on Unity. I programmed Stampy, for the tutorial and the Help tool for players. I also did all the in-game interface animation, for Stampy, boss dialogs, buttons and texts hovering animations, and many others.
